Aqara H2 smart switch for blinds

A smart wall switch for curtains and blinds with a classic electric motor lets you not only fully open or close them, but also stop them at any position – to get the light level you need. With the switch you can set up scenes, automate your curtains and control them via the app or voice assistants.

The H2 blinds and curtain switch controls wired motors of curtains, blinds and roller systems with separate inputs for opening and closing, while the second button is used for wireless control of other smart devices.

With Thread and Zigbee support, the switch integrates with third-party Matter ecosystems (such as Apple Home) as well as the Aqara ecosystem with extended functionality.

Features:

Precise curtain position control – stop curtains or blinds at any position: partially cover the window, close fully for darkness and privacy, or leave them slightly open for natural light.

How it works

The H2 EU switch directly controls the motor of curtains or blinds and automatically calibrates their travel to accurately detect the position of the fabric. This ensures the curtains always stop at the right point – without skewing or extra movement. The left button handles main curtain control, while the right one works as a smart button for running scenes or controlling other devices.

Compatibility

The H2 EU model is suitable for controlling four-wire bidirectional AC motors used in roller curtains, horizontal blinds and motorized curtains. The device is compatible with Matter via Thread controllers and with the Aqara ecosystem when connected to a Zigbee/Thread hub. It works with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and supports automations in the Aqara Home app.

Power

The switch connects directly to the mains and requires a neutral line. The power range is 100-250 V~, 50/60 Hz, with a maximum load of up to 2000 W (8 A). Built-in overheat and overload protection ensure stable and safe operation, and energy monitoring lets you track the usage of connected motors.

Installation

The device installs into a standard round mounting box and integrates easily into existing wiring. The package includes a frame with buttons, extra gray buttons, a set of screws and a user manual, making installation quick and convenient.

Shutter Switch H2 EU supports electric motors with four wires that have a limit setting function. In the standard configuration, such motors have the following conductors: neutral wire (N), load wire for raising (L1), load wire for lowering (L2) and protective ground wire (GND).
