Dry contact: closes control circuits without supplying external voltage (safe for gate automation and boilers).
Motor mode: the Interlock function blocks both channels from switching on at the same time, protecting blind and curtain motors.
Flexible power: runs on 220V mains or 24–60V DC.
Smart features: accurate energy consumption tracking (in standard relay mode), works as a Zigbee 3.0 signal repeater, and supports Alisa/Siri via Matter.
A universal automation tool: from lighting to gates and heating boilers
The Aqara T2 dual relay module – is one of the most functional and flexible devices in the Aqara smart home lineup. Thanks to support for "dry contact" technology, the relay can close and open electrical circuits without supplying voltage to them from its own power supply. The module offers two independent control channels, runs on the advanced Zigbee 3.0 protocol, and can be installed in a deep wall box or on a DIN rail using the included adapter.
Relay benefits and features:
Unique Dry Contact: Safely control devices that require a pulse or isolated control signal. Ideal for integration into control units of automatic gates, barriers, curtain and roller shutter motors, as well as for closing the thermostat contacts of gas and electric boilers.
Motor control mode (Interlock): In this mode, the relay physically prevents both channels from switching on at the same time. This is critical for safe control of bidirectional electric motors (such as roller blinds or shutters), where applying phase to both "open" and "close" at once can burn out the motor.
Two power modes for the module itself: The relay can run and be powered from a standard AC mains supply (AC 100–240 V) or from DC sources (DC 24–60 V), which expands its use in low-voltage cabinets.
Energy monitoring and signal repeating: When connected in standard relay mode (with voltage supplied to the load via a "wet contact"), the device measures energy consumption in detail. Thanks to constant power, the relay also works as a Zigbee 3.0 network router (repeater), improving connection stability for distant sensors.
Support for Matter and all ecosystems: When used with a compatible hub (for example, Aqara Hub M3), the relay supports the Matter protocol and instantly integrates with Apple Home, Google Home, SmartThings, and Yandex Smart Home with Alisa.
