The device is a modular system consisting of several parts. The main element is the SPM-Main Unit control unit, which controls the SPM-4Relay modules and provides communication with the eWeLink mobile application. Up to 32 SPM-4Relay modules can be connected in series to one SPM-Main Unit via the RS-485 interface.

The system is designed for DIN rail installation and is rated for up to 20 amps per channel, that is, up to 80 amps per SPM-4Relay module. Each channel is completely independent and is configured separately - there is no connection between them, they work autonomously.

The device allows you to monitor electricity consumption in real time and save complete statistics. The case has a slot for installing an SD card, on which daily reports for each channel are recorded. Statistics are stored for the last 180 days. Moreover, even in the absence of the Internet, the data continues to be saved. The eWeLink application has a “Current” tab for instantly measuring consumption, and a “History” tab for viewing graphs and reports by day. Although real-time data is not directly displayed, the user can update the information by switching between tabs.

The system does not support sharing - the device cannot be shared with another eWeLink user. In addition, it cannot be transferred between different “Houses” in the application, only moved within one.

For each channel, you can set a current threshold value, above which the channel will automatically turn off, which increases the safety of the connected equipment. The device can also be used in automation scenarios - channels can be both triggers and actuators, that is, they can be turned on and off according to specified conditions.

If the device is installed in a room with three-phase power supply, it allows you to divide the loads into phases and control each of them separately, while maintaining separate statistics for each line.
